DALLAS, Texas – January 21, 2020 – Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) today announced the appointment of Joseph F. Eazor as President and Chief Executive Officer of its Conifer Health Solutions business. Eazor is a seasoned executive with a distinguished career in technology and business process services. He has held the CEO role and other top leadership positions at public and private companies, with expertise that spans strategy, customer engagement, product development, global sales and marketing, outsourcing, and mergers and acquisitions.
“After a comprehensive search, we are pleased to welcome Joe to Conifer,” said Ron Rittenmeyer, Executive Chairman and CEO of Tenet Healthcare. “He is a proven leader with a deep background in customer engagement and business transformation. His years of experience at publicly traded companies and in high-tech operations will benefit us tremendously as Conifer continues to improve operations, product offerings, growth trajectory and standalone functions, all of which are key to completing a successful spinoff from Tenet by the second quarter of 2021.”
“I am excited to join Conifer, which has a great reputation of high-value service delivery, real-time solutions and efficiency,” said Eazor. “This is a momentous time in the company’s evolution with significant opportunities to accelerate growth and reach, both leading up to and following the spinoff. I am eager to get started and work with the team to further differentiate Conifer as a leader in its space.”
Kyle Burtnett, who held the position of Interim CEO of Conifer during the search process, will return to his previous role of Chief Operating Officer of Conifer, reporting to Eazor.
Rittenmeyer continued, “I want to thank Kyle for leading Conifer over the last several months, in addition to his many contributions across the Tenet enterprise for more than 15 years. I look forward to continuing to work with Kyle as he returns to his role as COO.”
