Agreement Strengthens Foundation for Consumer-Centric, Sustainable Care Delivery
Frisco, Texas – June 4, 2015 – Conifer Health Solutions, a leading provider of healthcare performance improvement services, announced today that Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health (D-HH), based in Lebanon, New Hampshire, has chosen Conifer Health as its provider for end-to-end revenue cycle management (RCM) services for hospital and physician services across the health system.
D-HH, which includes an academic medical center and a multispecialty physician group practice, selected Conifer Health as its transformational partner to manage their patient access, health information management, reimbursement and patient financial services. Conifer Health’s industry leading solutions will allow D-HH to enhance patient engagement and revenue capture, reduce denials and improve overall cash flow and operating margins.
“Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s vision for a sustainable health system that serves New Englanders for generations begins with a strong financial foundation and commitment to a superior patient experience. Our continued success depends on trusted partners like Conifer Health that have the expertise to support our mission today, but also understand the roadmap to achieve value-based care,” said Robin Kilfeather-Mackey, chief financial officer for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health and affiliates.
“Conifer Health is honored to be chosen by Dartmouth-Hitchcock to support its mission to build a sustainable, consumer-centric healthcare system focused on keeping its communities healthy. As fee-for-service reimbursement continues to shift to value-based payment structures, Conifer Health’s value-based revenue cycle expertise will provide Dartmouth-Hitchcock improved performance to support the delivery of low cost, high quality healthcare,” said Stephen M. Mooney, president and CEO of Conifer Health Solutions.
D-HH is among the growing number of providers opting for value-based revenue cycle outsourcing partnerships as a strategy to address the complexities of changing reimbursement and payment models and regulatory requirements. Black Book estimates the market potential of RCM outsourcing to be $7.7B, with projected growth to nearly $9.9B by mid-2016. Much of the market growth is attributed to the end-to-end service vendors.
